Bareilly is not just famous for its traditional industries but i would say Bareilly has produced exceeding number of technocrats, doctors and well known people that are spread accross all over the world. On the average 25 to 3o people are selected for IITs and many more for other engineering colleges.
But people leave bareilly soon after their schooling for studies and jobs because Bareilly was not successful in creating ample of jobs for talented people. Electricity, sanitation and general town planning is a big concern and in the last but not the least Bareilly has still not seen the benefits of globalization , the path that is taking india to economic prosperity.
A lot of things needs to be done for bareilly. Good quality colleges, ample supply of safe water and elctrivcity, better administration of the city in general, better medical facility etc.
I feel sad when i had to leave bareilly because this city cannot provide me anything good for my career. But still at heart i love this city very much
